Ryugasaki Forest Park is an urban park located in the northern part of the city, in Izumicho. Covering 13.1 hectares, the park preserves its natural coniferous forest and offers visitors the chance to enjoy seasonal plants and observe various animals throughout the year. In spring, the cherry blossoms and azaleas are especially breathtaking.
Originally opened in July 1986, the park underwent a major renovation due to aging infrastructure and was reborn in spring 2025 as a destination where visitors can play, stay, and experience nature firsthand. In addition to upgraded walking trails and park zones, the renewed Ryugasaki Forest Park now features a variety of exciting outdoor facilities. We invite you to come and enjoy all that the new park has to offer.
